- Prof. Anand Srivastava from the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering, IIT Mandi, India
visited Professor Keith Blow at Aston University about the FSO in the DETERMINE project.
Dissemination resulted in Prof. Srivastava working on performance comparisons of different modulation formats
in FSO links. This will be used as part of our collaboration to gather data on the statistics of link outages to benefit
the project and the EU.
- Prof. Haitham Hamza from the Department of Information Technology, Cairo University, Egypt visited
Professor Keith Blow at Aston University about the FSO in the DETERMINE project. Dissemination
resulted in Prof. Hamza proposal to install FSO links at Cairo University. This will be used as part of our
collaboration to gather data on the statistics of link outages to benefit the project and the EU.
